Tracking Your Finds

Use to but it got boring after a couple years....

A newbie here, I am using a spreadsheet right now, planning on building a simple database. If nothing else to track my progress as I learn more about this hobby, hopefully will notice an increase in finds as I get more experience. I am kind of a geek that way.

Tellico download - Tellico 2.3.6 - IceWalkers.com

I use Tellico. 90% of my finds are jewellery. After I get the finds back from the police with ownership documents I can scan the documents in plus one picture.

I sell nearly all my finds and have to pay taxes on these. Euro tax pigs can be real anal.

I use an app on my Iphone called metal detecting pro. There are several apps out there, but this one is my favorite so far. It could be a little more user friendly, but gets easier the more I use it. Happy hunting!

Cell phone camera, upload to face book. I get quantities, dates and I get to show off my finds.

I use coinshooting app and metal detecting pro. Coinshooting app can export .cvs files and rss. Metal detecting pro I use to keep up with work I do on detectors and to track info about a site, finds, depth. They are both great apps for iPhone.
