I don't sell enough to warrant it, but I would use an excel spreadsheet.

I keep track of the item's price, how much I sold it for, and then I have a google spreadsheet that automatically calculates my profit. I don't account for fees though, which I probably should, because they definitely hurt the profits.

i dont keep track of all that stuff......i mainly sell marbles and rarely sell just one marble....i know if a lot of marbles ,say 5or 6 can bring between 10 and 20 bucks and those marbles cost me 5 or 6 cents...its all good...i ve never tried listin lots of different things and i can see how that info would be important...i use the paypal card to keep all that money separate...pay out of it for shipping...i never worry about fees...but if i sold the marbles for .99 it would be a concern....

I don't keep track of anything except in my head. I know what I paid, I know what I sold it for, I know what my fees are. That's all I need to know. When it becomes any more complicated than that, i'll quit doing it.

Remember 20k sales per year and you have to fill out nazi IRS papers.

Being full time, I get 1099s from both eBay and Amazon so I use an excel spreadsheet. As long as you don't get behind its really not that bad but it is still annoying.

/ Purchase price / purchase date / listing price / sold price / sold date / ebay fees / paypal fees/ shipping fees /

Turbo-Lister 2 is good for tracking sales. I don't use it to list, just for tracking.
It's an EBay app.
