So.... being as 2007 is winding up here shortly, I wanted to find out if the tracking list I have been updating is something I should do again for 2008.

Assuming I do the list again, the two main changes I was contemplating were as follows:
1) Making the foreign coin tracking list be a different thread.
2) Getting a more complete Canadian coin variety list

If you think I should do it again, what changes/improvements (if any) would you suggest?

I thought the tracking thread was a great idea. One thing I would change is that I don't think it is necessary to list the complete sets of coins that clearly won't be found. For example you have listed 3 cent nickels, seated halves, etc. We might (collectively) see a couple of these at best throughout a year and I don't think it's necessary to list them all. Other than that it is great!

I only added those sets when a coin was found from the set. :) I would do the same again.

I love that post, however, as i stated in the 2007 thread, i would like to see a section for the state stamped pennies. I found one with west virginia and i'm sure a lot of other people are bumping into them. Lets see if we can get a complete set :)

Sounds good then, and I agree a thorough Canadian list would be great
