hi I got this in a garage sale today but cannot find anything like it ... any ideas?
it's 41cm/16in high bought in France, if that helps

I found this image on a flea market toy page. I think that's your robot rear left. I believe these are modern Mexican or Japanese imports with almost no value.

ok thanks .. I'll see if anyone else comes up with something before marking it "SOLVED"
also it says made in china...
the guy I got it from said he'd bought it for his son 10-12 years ago

Looks like a newer model robot and could be a tough one to pin down. You have over 31 thousand variations of plastic toy robots from mainland China to choose from on Toy Robot-Toy Robot Manufacturers, Suppliers and Exporters on Alibaba.comToy Robots I'm thinking if I look through few hundred, maybe I'll just get lucky and find that very one you have. Allot of them come close, but no cigar for me yet on my end.
