I dug this toy car at a playground that opened in 1949 with lots
of activity till the 70's. Size is: 1 3/16" long 5/16" wide
The only mark i can see is VI on the underside.

I'd like to know What make of car it is ?
Who made it ?
When it was made ?
Is the driver missing ?

I sort of think it was a part of a board game maybe ?

I tried searching with no luck. I'll leave it to the experts here.

Isn't that the car from a Monopoly game?

It is a 1932 Roadster.

you da man cryptic :headbang:

With your help i was able to find out it's 60's and after.

By the mid 1950s the car had been replaced by the more familiar race car (it had a 3 on it until sometime in the '60s), so all the tokens resembled today's tokens. Over time Parker Bros. again farmed out the production of the tokens, different dies were used, but the basic design has remained the same for the past 50 years.

1932 roadster cool !! Thanks much for your help  "solved"

To me it is more a replica of the classic the American midget racer from the 30's and 40's than any 32 roadster I know of.

You are so right! I knew I saw that style somewhere :icon_thumleft:
