:hello:

Went on a club dig in the Yorkshire Wolds, the place is full of History and this site we were on steeped in Saxon.
Unfortunatley I later found out it's been detected since 1989 ??? The fields were huge and iron infested :-\ only managed a few finds, but I got a very nice Anglo Saxon zoomorphic strap-end (8th-9thc) :headbang: 4 Silver sceats turned up and a couple of stycas, I tried for 9 hours but couldn't manage a silver coin :'( still it was a great day out, in a beautifull part of the world :icon_thumleft:

Could have been worse . . . you might have been out on the golf course for 5 hours like I was today . . . stuck behind 4 groups of slow golfers! :laughing7:
