Totem?..

I found this in a load of Kansas river rock. It fits in the palm of my hand. I think it looks like a carving. Anyone have an idea and can help?

I don't think it is carved. I seen lot of river rocks with holes in them. You have one that's broke in half.

As a kid, we called them fishing weights and used them as such.
