[Ah, just weave them into rolls and take 'em to the bank.

I agree. They are still money. I assume they were rejected by a coin counter. If not, try them at one or at the post office machines. You would be amazed at what will be accepted.

Good luck.

HH.

Now thats a LOT of Holes. My back hurts thinking about it.
Great Re-circulation....

Keep putting them back into circulation...Hopefully some will drop my way..I haven't put mine back yet..just starting to roll a few..I hate rolling coins..Isn't that a bit boring..lol HH

Not a bad start, I use a inexspensive tumbler to clean the nasty ones up. a little dish washing detergent and an hour, There clean enough to take to the bank. Art...

Elvis fan try cleaning the black coins in a tumbler then take them to a store that has coin star machine. I have done this several times and have had only those that were corroded, chewed up or bent sent back to me. I use soap and water followed by a mixture of vinegar and salt to clean the coins enough to send back into circulation. Do not do this to any old or rare coins though as it will ruin their value. HH Ted

Your bank might accept the damaged coins. At least I think they are
supposed to take them. They turn them over to the mints to be
destroyed.

Enough there for about 4 silver peace dollars, nice!!!!

Wont the bank take them to be destroyed and replaced in circulation with new ones? At least that's what they do with dollar bills.

my bank wont take them...I am going to get a tumbler and clean em up asap

Lots of ideas on this post! Makes me want to grab a mallet and start straightening out the ones I cleaned but are all bent up or twisted :) I actually keep my clad.......I like to look at it build up as much as I like to look at my little mercs.
