TOOTSIE TOY TRAILER HAULING TWO 1950'S SILVERS + 1942 WHEAT PENNY

Got out for around 1.5 hours after work and found a few goodies. 1957 Quarter, 1951 Roosevelt dime,1942 Wheat penny and a Tootsie Toy trailer to haul my silver around. O yes, $2.63 in clad AKA beer money ! Remember Metal detecting is not a crime. Do your research and always ask permission. Leave the property better than you found it. This is done by picking up trash on the surface as well as below the grass line when digging . If you find something substantial it would be much better for lots people to see it on display VS sitting in your private collection. Donate it after you get a few good photos or video. Like my Grandma used to say you cant take it with you when you go. For good luck I added a family photo of my grandparents and their children around 1945. Olan Mills eat you hart out ! You could not make a family photograph like that today if you tried. Good Luck !!!

Nice digs but better photo , thanks for sharing !

Great finds, and you're right you can't smoke in an Olin Mills studio....LOL Those were the good ole days.

Neat trailer and silver coins! :headbang: Love your grandparents sitting back to back with arms crossed - what a hoot! :tongue3: Reminds me of similar pose my sis & I did in 1970 when we were each seven months pregnant -- we each stood sideways and back to back with big baby-filled bellies sticking out and giant grins on our faces -- now a classic family pic! Andi
