I posted this tool about two years ago. I found it in a creek bed near a ancient mound site here in Tennessee. The tool fits perfectly into the palm of your hand as shown in one picture where I am holding it. It has one groove of decent size and a smaller groove too. It is clearly smoothed on one end and the other end has a depression that is perfect for fitting your finger in to get a good grip on it. It also appears to have smut or burn marks on it. I have heard tthat such stains remain on some tools that are exposed to fire.
Anyway, would like to hear from you who are reading this two years later to see what your thoughts are.
