Looks like a vegtable chopper :P the curved point is were the wooden handle was :thumbsup:

A good ole fashion bread doe cutter, but could have had many chopping uses in the kitchen. The spiked end would have been the location of a wooden handle. They still have the same form of tool today....The pasta cutter.

I agree, this is a cutting tool, with many uses inside and out of the house.

Most likely, this had numerous uses, just like in today's world, where we might pick up a knife and use it for a wide variety of things.

This tool could easily have been used in the butchering of farm animals, cut tobacco, used in the kitchen, etc.

This would have had a wood handle mounted on the tang.
