Took niece metal detecting

Went whale watch fishing and then metal detecting on an ocean while staying at a campsite. Niece found this clad. Was her first time. She found numerous coins at campsite and found horse and car at the beach. Here are a few pics of her metal detecting.

It is always best to start them young in this hobby. Really wanted to know how you like your garrett and the pin pointer. I am really struggling on a whites or garrett....I think I will get what you have...but I am curious on how you like it.

thanks for the replys...she did have a good time as well as i did.....some of the coins she found, she saw before i did...young eyes vs. old eyes... she learned pretty fast so all i had to do is watch and if the digging was a little tough, i helped her out......we will do it again someday im sure...i need someone to carry the mding legacy on.... take care all and hh....mark43
