Took nephew to park

Took my 12 year old nephew to the park. He has an inexpensive BH. He's never had it out of his yard. On his 3rd hole he pulled out a ring! It was a cheapy, but still put a smile on his face. We only had an hour. He pulled out about 50 cents in clad. He was suprsised at how much there is in parks.

You are to be commended for taking your nephew out detecting. It was my uncle that got me hooked on detecting 32 years ago. Like anything it is our future generations that will make sure our hobbies and passions persist for years to come
