took a little road trip today 5/12

It was a nice day out so I went for a spin today ...I met some pretty cool tellers and tried out a coin counting machine for the first time , it was pretty neat and convient for ripping handrolls ... dont have to keep count and have a 2000 halves to make up a bag....

I didnt have much luck finding many halves most banks didnt have any but did end up a few ...

Your road trips seem to go well. Do you call ahead to the banks or just pay them a drop in visit?

I call ahead Jim to see how many halves they have and if there is enough rolls to bother with....I usually only have time to hit 4-5 banks , the towns that have any banks at all are really spread out ...

I was cleaning out my car of wrappers and found 2 more 40% that I stashed while out hunting , nothing special but I will take it ...2 more to throw on the stash , Ed

LMAO...1 day I was dumping the bag from my car @ work and out popped a 40% (67) right in the trash. Luckily it was on the wrappers and not someones tobacco spit! Any score and a nice joyride are the makings of a great day!
