Too cold to MD

It's way too cold to metal detect in PA... However I did get that awesome feeling of a "find" the other day. I was doing some renovations on a rental property, removing some shoe molding and something caught my eye sticking out from the wall trim. I pulled out my scraper on my hands and knees and I found this... 1936 Swiss Franc

More snow coming... 8" - 10" Wednesday into Thursday... Seriously considering moving to Florida. I HATE winter....

Nice find! What part of PA are you in? I went to school in Hanover but I live in MD so I know how annoying winter can be.

Yup winter sucks in PA. Then again so does summer. I would rather have spring or fall. Summer to hot and winter to cold.

I'm in Northwestern Lehigh county, and yes the latest I've seen is 12"+ for Wednesday through Friday. So sick of snow.

Nice! The off season is tough for a Metal Detectorist. Since it is probably the exact opposite of a cardiovascular workout it can be hard to impossible to dress well enough to keep warm. Though have have shivered hard enough to feel like I'm dancing before. Get ready! Spring is near!
