how big is it .. an inch or a foot? Can we see another photo or two from different angles.

My guess would be the End of a Bolt Lock ?

The two fingers on the end form a lip for a rail or side of something. I'm thinking it may be a stake pocket for a top etc,for a boat or wagon. Tony

My initial thought was a gas light bracket .. guess it still could be.
