Though the main character in this movie is named Bass,His name in real life was Hugh Glass.Glass was a trapper,mountain man in the early 1800s.Glass was badly mauled by a grizzly bear while on a trapping expedition.The men he was with left him to die,but,he didnt die.This is the story of that
