This morning I went out with a very poor attitude. I was going where I rarely find anything and figured I would not find anything today either but.... it is close to home and I got my daily "fix" in. It was REALLY early when I got there and was thinking that it was NOT a smart thing for me to do that early. It was still dark and since I don't carry a gun or knife or I'm not a fighter I just might be putting myself in danger for no reason at all. I stayed in the car with the doors locked until it started getting light and I felt better about it. It was silly of me to go so early today. As it turned out I was fine - no one came around until the employee showed up.

I got my gear on and started hunting the dry sand until it got light enough to get in the water. I found 3 dimes and 1 penny & a key chain with no keys. I looked around for keys that might have been on it but no sounds at all. Ah well.

Now the sky was light and it was time to get in the water. In I went. At first I hunted the shallow part - no hits. Nothing at all. So I put on my mask & snorkel and went deeper. Still no hits. NOTHING. I kept on and FINALLY A HIT. It was just a jagged piece of metal. Well, that's OK - I put it away. Sure didn't want anyone stepping on it! I kept going and got another hit. RATS! It was just a little connector of some kind. I was in the water about 2 hours and that was all I got. NO coins - NO jewelry!

I went up near the playground and picnic tables and eyeballed a cheap bangle bracelet. That was the only thing I found up there besides a kids plastic innertube which I left there.

Soooooo my total for today was 31 cents, a bangle bracelet & a key chain with no keys plus my usual junk.

Tomorrow is another day! I'm raring to go so watch out..... mumszie is on the prowl!

Yes I was Sam, but this was deep in the muck, sand. I KNEW YOU HAD BEEN THERE! NO WONDER I COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING!
