I found this tomahawk between 1/4 and 1/2 mile offshore in lake erie. there is an old 1700's shipwreck in the area this was found. I hope someone here can identify it , it would mean a great deal to me.

Hey Tim, great find! The blade is shaped like an early axe from that period, but I can't make out what is going on at the poll end. Can you post another pic of that end from the top and a closer shot from the side?
