Hello all, trying to find info on this item (not mine).

lmk if additional pics are needed.

Here's the message that accompanied the pics

"It's 29" in total length and I could barely make out the name "Toledo" on it and believe it to be a Spanish rapier or side sword. It came from my uncles estate who had considerable wealth."

Most importantly, is this a reproduction/counterfeit?

Thanks in advance for any help.

My guess would be repro because of the handle material and quality. It appears that the pommel is turned on a lathe and not cast which leads me to believe it is industrial revolution era. Just my thoughts, take em with some salt

Thanks Wampum, appreciate all the help I (we) can get.
