One possible date: Cid Perry of Vassar, MI was issued US Patent 837957 in 1906. It was for a special clamp for making crates.

Not sure if this is your token man but there is an "Alonzo F. Yeakey" b~1872 who is listed in the 1920 Census as having a Dairy Farm in Cleveland, Chippewa Co., Wisconsin.
