I found this token, and after trying to research the company that made it or it’s age I’ve found nothing. Can anyone assist? Thanks for looking!

Jot n Tittle are pen strokes in Hebrew writing. Jot means small and tittle is even smaller than a jot. It is a Biblical token relating to Hebrew writings in the Bible. Nice find.

My instincts say this was probably issued by a Bible Book Store.

Okay! Very interesting! I wonder how old. I’m thinking not that old, but I really don’t know. I couldn’t find one on the internet.

Cant - there are a number of tokens with the same reverse listed on tokencatalog:

Display Token Records - All States

No real indication of date, but one from MN makes me think this is from 1972 or a few years after. A lot of video arcade token makers were producing tokens of the same size in the mid 1970s.

Please post this token on tokencatalog - or with permission to use your pics, I'd be happy to do it.

l It's a relatively modern token. Two 'giveaways': One, the denomination $1.00 is common in modern tokens; rare in old tokens.
Two: the phone number of all numbers is something that began in either the late 60's or during the 70's.
