Found this tonight alongside an 1800s foundation that was either a tavern or a house according to the property owner. It appears to be aluminum because it's very light and almost sounds like plastic when you drop it on a table.
The front says U.S.A. in the middle and then "JAM"(illegible) on one side and "HULL" on the other.
The reverse has a seam almost like it was bent at some point, but it's completely straight so I don't think it's ever actually been bent. I'm not sure what this seam is. Where it's pulled up it almost looks like it's pulling up a layer of metal or something, I dunno. There are numbers stamped on the seam. All I can see is either "66" or "99", but you can tell it used to go on further.
Two holes, and it's a little larger than a quarter.
