Prety sure this is some type of token. Im not familar with them, is anyone else? Also not sure what kind of buckets it could be talking about. Found at an 1800 site

Perhaps a pickers token, for having picked ten buckets of apples, oranges, yams, etc.
Might be worth seeing if there was an RCC canning company?

For instance, a tomato canning operation would pay workers to process (peel & remove flaws) tomatoes and pay them by the bucket. Tokens like this were used to keep track of how much work was done by individuals and what their pay would be. I don't find a listing for this one - were there canneries in the area where you found it?

That does make a lot of sense, but no there was nothing to can out here in West Texas to my knowledge. Might of been carried in from somewhere.
