Found this in my front yard messing with different coils and detectors. I think it is a token but no writing or numbers, it looks Turkish to me or maybe Indian (Curry munching ones) the obverse side I do not have a clue what that is. Seems to be made of copper, it is light tho weighs 4.6 grams and is a whisker bigger then a nickle and a shade smaller then a quarter. Does any one recognize it? thanks for looking HH

Thanks for the quick response

As mentioned on Numista...... a token from the now-defunct Aladdin's Castle chain of gaming arcades. If you stop by a gaming blog, you will see that many *older* gamers (25 and older!), remember Aladdin's Castle with great fondness. Apparently Aladdins's Castle has been taken over by Namco 0-100 (100 being very rare) rarety=53

Yep Battlfield mall in Springfield... Spent way too much time and $ in that arcade as a kid :laughing7:

Same here but North Park Mall in Joplin...lol

I guess I'm pretty old. The games at the arcades that were around when I was a teenager took actual quarters. About the time I was old enough to exit the scene they started introducing the tokens. Oh well, by then my mind was more tuned to boobs and beer
