This was found at an old home site two years ago. After sitting for awhile some detail has emerged. It is slighly smaller then a large cent and thinner. The side not pictured is illegible. Also coming from this site was a counterfiet large cent, a Wisconsin state CW era button and several flat buttons. Found in the Western New York area.
You can make out a tree like figure in the first photo. I have looked thru my token books and other coin books including Canadian as we find a lot of Canadian, and have not seen it yet. Looks familiar. If you look at the 6 o'clock postion in the second you can see what appears to be an 8 and either a 3 or a 5.
