found this coin or token on an old home site dating to the 1700's the item has a sqaure hole in the middle..on side it has a star taking most of the side and on the reverse all i can make out is a number 2..but there is more but cant make it out....On the star side i think it has an A or a tringle.. the is number 2.s on both sides.. sorry i cant give more details but thats about all i can make out and the camara cant zoom in that close..so im hoping that someone can make out what it is with them little details

It could be some type of transit token. Many of those have a cut-out in the center; often times a letter or symbol. Interesting find :) Breezie

as chinese coins do not have numbers I would have to agree with breezy....token...cool find!
