Token help?

Found this in a yard in southern illinois..our towns main st runs east and west so I know the adders is not from town can't find anything about this or another like it on line... Any ideas ??

There is another token with the same address, ROCKFORD / LIQUOR / CO. / 205 SO. MAIN ST. - attributed to Rockford, Illinois.

But, I can't find a Jefferson or John Dodge listed in Rockford having anything to do with this address or a cigar store.

. Rockford...that's about 7 hours north of me....mmmmm?
