Token Help, I know it's a longshot.

I found this token Sunday morning at an abandoned town site. I think it is aluminum and reads "Franks Place" on one side and 5c drink on the other. There is no record of a Franks Place here so i was wondering if anyone else has any info on it. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I wouldnt know but the guys on this forum are bound to identify it. You might want to include the location you found it at so they can research it though. I have seen tokens from hot dog type stands. Give em some more info. They will help you

What was the name of the town and/or what town or city is near you? "Franks Place" in southwest Georgia really isn't much to go on...

The more info we get, the more likely you are to get a good answer.

Sorry for the lack of information. It was found outside Leesburg, Ga. The biggest town nearby would be Albany, Ga. I talked to a local amateur historian and he has never heard of a "Franks Place" in our area. Some other finds from this area include a medal with "Golden Gate International Exposition" around the perimeter and "San Francisco Bay 1939" in the middle along with a depiction of the bridge. On the back it reads "Treasure Island" and there is a depiction of a sunrise or sunset behind the bridge and an island in the foreground. Coin and button finds date from the 1840s to the 1920s.
