Token found in Texas

I have no idea what it could be from, but the person told me that it is at least 100 years old. It is light and it seems that it may be made of silver.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think it is a token? Technically speaking, a token is a substitute for money and would generally have a value on one side. Your piece looks like a pendant to me.

It may well be a pendant and I used token incorrectly.

two things I notice...it is not a coin replica..you say it is light...I cannot find the image on coin data bases.I would have to surmise it is likely modern.the kind of thing sold at renaissance fairs.a fantasy theme piece.This is a simple guess only

It is the same on the other side, which is weird.

It could be but the original person found in in the early 70's in the middle of Texas when building a house and it was deep in the ground.

Having the same image on the other side enforces the notion that the object is not a coin.
