Hello everyone, I was out with ctx3030 yesterday and hit a park close to home. Before using the ctx3030, I had only found one silver coin at this park. Since using the ctx3030 at the same park I have found 4 silver coins and this mystery object. I also found 1944 mercury dime as well. The mystery object, I think its silver, but I am unsure of what it is. Looks like the back may have had an attachment, could be a pin or button. Anyone ever see one of these, and any idea of the age? Thanks in advance if anyone is able to help.

Cross and Crown - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I looked this cross & crown thing after I found this glass paperweight. Only thing my weight the cross tilts the other way from all the others I've found info on. It's Masonic related. Yours looks to be of the Knights Templars KT. It has a enough info on it I'm sure if you dig deeper you'll find out how old it is and what it signifies

Masonic. KT stands for Knights Templar. I've seen the cross and crown on other masonic items.
I'm going to guess button.

It appears to be a "Masonic" Knights Templar lapel-pin/badge. missing the attachment-stud on its back. The abbreviation COM'Y #! on yours means Commandery #1 (located in Pittsburgh PA). You can verify that I've correctly identified the emblem on it at the following link, although the badge there is shaped differently from yours. Antique Pittsburgh Knights Templar Commandery by VintageMasonry

Edit: Tidajo and I were typing at the same time.

Thanks CBG, I am going back to see if I can find the back. Thanks for your help. Do you have an idea of age of this pin badge?
