Just the one day detecting this weekend, frost overnight and the wind was freezing.

I found this cute little buckle, another key, a fancy piece, himself found this holed piece, an assures me it’s old! A tack mount, and a tiny decorative piece, a bag seal, my first with writing on, a bent Jetton, 2 crusty farthings, a huge pot leg, then a decorated bit of pottery and a weird stone with a band around 🤔….buttons …. And finally my hammered for the day! xx ( oh and a blury close up of the tiny piece in pic 5 …., have brought a microscope… so bare with Me while I get used to using it!! ) xx

Hopefully we will be able to squeeze one more day in next Saturday in these amazing fields! Not to sure what we will do when these fields are planted, we have been truly spoilt! xx

Blossom,
You never fail us. 👍 Congrats to you two wild and crazy detectorists.
Why are they so upset with silver coins over there?
They always seem to be hammered. 🤪

Queen of the hammered coins !! 🫡🫡🫡

I've gone through a few pairs of KEEN shoes. I've never tried their mustard. Heck I didn't even know they've been spending mustard that many years. I wonder what other kinds of condiments they had back in the 18th century.

Ha… im wondering if this is where the saying “as keen as mustard” comes from 🤔… surely it must be?! xx
