Todays Tesoro U-Max Find! Pulled this old 'Something Tag" Out of The Hole?

Ok here we go, today was a pretty hot slow day, but I pulled this ? Out of the hole. Way Cool! ?? What the He@l is it?? Found it under an old tree next to an old Sandstone quarried building. Does anybody know its function? Age? Time period? Thats it for this kid in Idaho! It's Brass....please see photo! Love being a part of T-Net!

This is a necker cheif tie, from the BSA, Boy Scouts of America. I found one of these out at the local park. This would be from a younger division.

Pretty close. It's a Wolf neckerchief slide for the cub scouts. The young man had achieved his wolf badge,
which also came with the wolf neckerchief slide. It appears that either he or his dad made the copper pin
to hold it in place a bit better. By the looks of it, I would say from the 60's or 70's.
