Felt I needed a fix today,so out the door I went to see if I was able to nab a coin or some relic. My wish did come through. After 3 hours of hunting I dug this 18?5 token. Its probably a 1/2 penny token

The otherside is toast but Iam able to see some lettering it looks like Halifax written on the bottom

After another 1 hour this popped out.Looks like a round button. When I dug it there was a lot of green crud with some silver showing, but the silver disappeared after cleaning.Cant win them all huh..lol

Re: todays take......... COIN ID

Did some research and found 50 different types of 1815 tokens. There were only 4 with reeded edge so that made the task of ID'ing a bit easier,as mine is reeded. After comparing the placement of the laurel leafs and comparing the face ,chin and the 5 in the date I believe this is the token.'Iam not coin expert but I try my best to ID properly and if anybody else has a different opinion well thats life huh LOL

Wont clean up any better than what you see,I did the hot peroxide bath but over doing it will just wipe off more details.
