Today's silver , ring #170

Got out for about 3 1/2 hours today and hunted to schools . First one I found a nice sized .925 silver ring . It was only an inch deep and had a +84 VDI . Then my hunting buddy had to leave so I moved on to another school . Best find was a .925 silver pendent with some kind of stone . The other finds in the pictures are from the past three hunts . Two Wheats , 1946S and a 1956D . Also found a 1959D penny . One foreign coin found , a 1994 Indonesian 50 cent . Hoping to get back out tomorrow and get that gold !

Love the pendant. Trying to figure out what kind of stone that is. It looks kinda like a untreated demantoid garnet to me. You should compare it under incandescent and flourescent lighting to see it it changes color.

170 rings for the year is amazing. You're gonna have to start a jewelry store pretty soon.

170 rings is most impressive! Any chance of a group shot?......would love to see them all displayed together, that would be an awesome sight!! The people in your area must just throw silver jewelry away. I believe my total is about 15 for the year, but, I am most pleased with that!

When I hold it up to the light it looks more green . I'll try the test you are talking about , thanks !

I'm going to do a group shot in early January . I have sold most of the gold ones already but will add the pictures of them that I took when found to that group shot .
