Today's short Colonial Dig

With the fields planted and time short - there is not much to dig right now. I still managed to get together with Bill D this morning for a venture to one of my local standby sites now far from home. We spent about 3 hours out where Bill proceeded to show off with targets. I managed the end to a trifed spoon and the early small shoe buckle. I also dug one button (Bill got a few more).

I am ready for the water season to come on and will work on a year-end post at some point in the near future.

I don't think I was actually showing off Dan. I was too busy checking for ticks to get much digging done. At least I came home with a couple of buttons and a nice little trapezoidal buckle. That was a fun little site as it had the potential to produce a very early coin at any time. Thanks for inviting me over to your turf.
