Today's ring 18K CZ

Tuesday afternoon today I bought a new Garrett ace 250 from Kellyco. I went to a site and searched for about 5 minutes and hit a signal in some sand. I dug around and came out with this 18k zirconia heart shaped ring. I thought I was pretty lucky on this one. My girlfriend is going to like this. I hope this is a sign of good things to come. I had a hard time taking it's pic thought with my HP digital cameral. Is there a trick to shooting something small with the camera?

Congrats on the ring, that is pretty amazing for your first time out. It took me a year to find my first 18k ring, but unfortunately for me it was 18k H.G.E. I also use the ace 250 and find it easy to learn and operate. Happy hunting and I look forward to your future finds.

Tim, If you have an HP camera there is a "macro" setting either on the dial or in the menu. It has an icon like below. That is the setting that you want. Rich

And even with the macro on, do not take the camera too close to the object. Just take many pictures from different distances to find the distance with the best result
