Today's penny box results

Did 2 brinks $25 boxes of pennies and the results were fantastic. I scored somewhere around 40 wheats with 2 being

1914
1917 D

Also found an unusual amount of 1982 pennies with a lot looking they came from a new roll. Maybe someone's family dump. I'll post pics later once I sort them.

Also found more than normal amount of Canadian cents. Almost a full roll between the 2 boxes. I am used to getting Canadian cents since I am not far from Canada but not when you crack a roll and start getting 1-2 per roll. I talked with my main bank chase and they told me they are now allowing Canadian coin to be accepted as acceptable currency and that I could expect to get it in change from them. They told me I could bring it in and they would accept it. Thought that was nice since my Canadian coin pile has almost filled a 1 gallon jug. I do keep copper culled from them too.

I'll post pics tomorrow. HH

Well the same stuff happens here in Canada. Last box I've searched, contained about 12 solid rolls of American cents. I'm not complaining, because those rolls are great source of wheat pennies :laughing7:. However, I don't think it is normal to have a quarter of a box being foreign coinage.
