Had to go to Gainsville this evening and found it in grass along side a parking lot in a doctors office complex along with a few coins -real quick hunt , about 15 minutes max , had some time to kill and made good use of it .The opal is pretty nice for luster and fire ,could use a light polish .The sand down here knocks the polish off if its been down very long . I like hitting grass strips in parking lots ,they arn't hunted as much -everybodys at the park or racetrack .I might go back ,it had never been hunted from what I found in 15 minutes or less. Could be a nice little spot to hit once and a while. Good Luck, Bob

nice ring you have there.....
If you want your opal to shine rub it on your nose....seriously...
the oil on your nose will make the color come out!!!
have a good one.

Bob,

That's a purdy ring. I know your daughter is thrilled to get it.

Your daughter's a lucky girl for getting a new birthstone ring.....and you're a lucky man for finding it for her. Great job! :)

Beautiful find pirate!!!
