Button says "national mobile" I can't read the first word. Thought it was American...don't really know.


Some sort of token. Back is blank. About the size of a dime

Curious about the eagle button, would it possible to get a clearer picture, and maybe one of the back? -or is there a backmark of ny sort? I can see that it's sitting a cloud with lightning arrows coming from it, which could indicate an electric railway uniform button?

Your button is apparently a French uniform button Garde Nationale Mobile. Here is one on Ebay France. Beau Bouton Garde Nationale Mobile 23mm | eBay

Here is a bit more of a description. Looks like it may be from 1868-1872.

I was leaning towards a calender date on the second picture.
Can't make out the design in the center of it.

Believe long thin piece maybe part of a drawing compass,holed for inserting lead.
