today's missed pieces

People have walked all around these pieces and missed them. Found a couple of pieces that look like they could have been used for lances (sharp edges), a couple of heartbreakers, and a cool looking knife. Really like the fine chipping he has done along the straight edge.

I like that knife also. That is a good find. Nice workmanship on thise pieces also.

Maybe they just didn't want them. I do it too. I leave stuff for others to find. However I do keep the best..
I do like that rounded scraper though.

Molly, that is the back half of a large knife or spear point. broken in half

Sure, it's possible someone passed them up, or didn't recognize them as artifacts. Then again, maybe that site just has a higher concentration of these little tools and fewer points. That would probably be consistent for a hunting camp, building area, etc., I'd think.
