Went out for a couple of hours and found these. 2 small points an a flint tool. The tool looks to be a reworked ancient point made to be a knife or drill. The owner planted clover and it is already 4-6 inches high. I was shocked as to how thick it is already. Looks to be a short hunting season in that field for me.

I bet the deer are going to like that clover. Nice points Rock I do not think you miss much do you?

I thought the flint one was a HB till I looked at it closer.

Crude points but Ill take them as they come. Ive never found so many quartz ones out there before. All the black flint ones were broken today.

On the points, Morrow Mountain phase 1?

Great colors and materials.

Quartz seems to be the choice points this yr. Flint was the finds last yr in that field. The owner turned the soil and brought the quartz up. Thanks

Trying to catch up on posts, so a very late great finds! Can't do much in our new fields either. The one that was disked is getting sprouts and it's hard to tell if your stepping on anything, so we just stay to the side. The other field wasn't disked and still has thick corn stalk debris. So, we are sticking to the creek :)

Now the sprouts might be a cover crop which if you ask it probably ok to walk on. I did a creek hunt today due to being in between spots to hunt rite now with the fields. One field has the clover and the other still has cotton but its getting ready to be taken up in a week or so.
