Re: Today's hunt with Alpha105 and TimC

I'm not touching that one Tim - but it looks like a promising site. Are you going back, or did you get a chance to hunt the whole property?

Looks like you had a fun hunt either way!

Re: Today's hunt with Alpha105 and TimC

Don't worry about it, Kimsdad. When I look at a picture of me I see my brother. Identical twins are used to it.

Re: Today's hunt with Alpha105 and TimC

Kimsdad,
We hunted the place twice now. We probably hunted 30% of the property. A site is NEVER hunted out, as far as I'm concerned. Tomorrow, someone will hunt the site with a better machine and better technique than I have and he'll find the motherload in the same spots I hunted! I would only sound silly if I said I hunted it out. (better to keep silent and be though a fool than to open my mouth and erase all doubt... anon) I hope to go back. Who knows..... TTC

Hey guys nice site! I can hardly wait for my back to stop hurting. Gotta get back out detecting. There is another guy from the net that wants to go detecting, but I told him latter on. I hope that will be sooner. His name is Dennis. Jim B

I haven't check yet, Jgas. Have to clean it carefully then put it under the microscope. I have a Scientific American 3D scope with integral camera. If it turns out to be a double die, it will be posted! TTC

Tim is probably an inch taller because the pound of titanium holding my back together makes me sink DEEPER into the topsoil! TTC
