Iowa's trip was a bust.... I have to remember not get my hopes up so high and then have Mother Nature put it down..
Anyways, I had some work to do in the garage so after I finished I decided to go swing the coil.
Headed over to Norwood Park area to go get some clad or maybe find a keeper if I get lucky.
I was on the phone with LookN4Seated when I saw "The House" they finally boarded it up and cut the bushes out.
What grass there is was short in areas but the back yard was about 4-5 inches high of weeds.
This place has been vacant for 3 years now and when I seen it boarded up I jumped at the opportunity before it gets torn down.
I'm glad I did... spent maybe 2 hours there...
Got a bunch of wheats and I was hoping for some silver when all of a sudden " Bingo " a 1937D Merc..
Couple more wheats and " Bang " a 1963 Rosie.. All were found in the parkway area..
After finishing the parkway I went to the front of the yard.
After swing for a couple minutes I pulled out a 1929 Buffalo Nickel. 2 feet away I pulled a 1945P War Nickel
10 minutes later pulled up a Large Good Luck Coin....
Ended with a few more wheats and some Gas Rebate Money.....
I needed today"s hunt cause things have been looking gloomy lately....
I hope my luck can continue...
Boy do I have a lot of catching up to do..
Silver count is now at ..........Drum Roll......... 7.... Ok You can stop laughing... Really I mean it you can STOP....
Seriously.... I know it's funny but it's not that funny.....
