I had 2 hauls today, first one steel 1320 lbs @ .11 per pound
the second was a nice gift find
180lbs of oversized aluminum @ .50 per pound and 99-1/2 pounds of aluminum frames and cast @ .55 per pound
nice weekend!
the over sized AL was a carpeted stage that someone had thrown out (at the curb). The crazy thing is I never did this route before. I had just bought some corals for my fish tank and saw 2 bicycles in the trash. I went around a couple of blocks and wow! all the Aluminum 6 pieces total. I went home and stripped the carpet off it and banged out the rusted bolts. we can all use some more easy $90.00 finds like this. Oh well, I'll keep dreamin'
