todays haul 1837 canadian half penny,1830 u.s. large cent better photo's added

I got out the last 3 days but today was exceptional a very nice 1837 canadian half penny bank token,
1830 u.s.large cent in very good condition. modern quarter found in the same hole as the 1830lc (it pays to recheck the hole) the quarter was found first, 2 modern dimes, 1 modern penny, 1 1958 wheat penny, 3 fishing lures, a broken key,1 musket ball,and my usual 3 lbs of sinkers. I have added better photo's, the 1830 looks like maybe 1850 but 1830 when wet, I will have to clean it a little bit. I also included the silver compass.

keep swinging allen, as the old story goes you cant hit a home run if you dont swing the bat. 3 days of junk and sinkers and then boom 2 nice coppers within 1 hour of each other. you should see all the trash I throw away. my metal detector feels like just another part of me anymore. I really do love this hobby.

Congrats on some nice finds. You've found a braided hair large cent (minted 1839-1857), so its likely an 1850. It looks to be in great condition!

No, not this tme. I have one up already (doesn't neccessarly mean it won't) but I think it would be in the US but over here I need something a little more special. (although it would make many Brits jump with joy as well, including myself)
