Today Nick and I went out in the rain for awhile and I found my first Barber dime a 1936 and some foreign money. We also found so newer money. We had a great time we also looked at a place were 60,000 troops rallyed at one point during the Civil war. We are going there at some point. Just being out with a friend and finding coins and other stuff is what it is all about. Will try to have some pics soon. As it is I became a grandfarther the second time within 2 years this past week. Can not wait to get back out there.

Congrats on being a grandpa dont forget to show us your pictures too..

Hey JW

That rallying point sounds like great place to search. Keep us informed what you are finding out there.

Check the date again on that dime. If it is 1936 then most likely it is a mercury dime... but it might be a 18?? something dime then we all will get excited for you.

Thanks for sharing
