First day of our stay home and detect holiday.. produced some amazing finds.

First pic..pretty lead flower, musket ball, bobbin lead shot, lead weights and strange lead thing with hole in!

9 buttons, all toasted fronts, but can make out the peacock on one livery button, one still has a lot of gilt on the back.

Then a metal flower shape, the post on the back is threaded, so not a bridle boss, a lead hook, and a pocket watch…says 7 jewels on the back?

A small metal oval with writing on, that I’m still trying to decipher and a lead toggle, imagine a cuff link, hard to photograph but very cool.

We did also find some coins… 2 Victoria half pennies, a George 3rd half penny and a George the 3rd cartwheel penny. So a fairly epic first day … we will be back out tomorrow

That did help me see the centre is the Lamb of God. See similar, the words are hard but might be;
ANG?VS DEI

We thought it was a dog in the centre.. 😂. but lamb of god makes a lot more sense!! x
I think its trying to abbreviate:

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, dona nobis pacem. - Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

How beautiful! Thank you! x
