Today's Finds

First weekend of sales here now that the weather has finally turned and my first thread here in garage sales. I stopped at two sales during my spare time this afternoon and had a good score.

Vintage Weaver Rifle scope: $3.00

Then I found a nice set of Bose Companion 2 series II computer speakers for 5.00 which i desperately needed

and I promptly dropped one on top of an extremely ugly ceramic goose cookie jar which promptly exploded. I was so pleased with the speakers and the scope that i paid the kind gentleman for the cookie jar as well ($5.00). Scope goes for 50.00 + on eBay and the speakers will stay home with me. Poor ugly goose went straight to the trash can.

Lol no the one i put out of it's misery was not quite as ugly as yours ! It looked more like some decoy attempting to swim across a kitchen counter.
