todays finds

got a nice 45 merc ,a few wheaties , some clad , and some other stuff and this item , maybe an old powder flask?

Some cool stuff Dave and that is definitely a powder flask. It's missing the top and spout but still closer to a whole one than I've ever dug.

Definitely a powder flask. Iv'e been detecting for about 10 years. Iv'e found more than a handful of KG's ,Barbers, even Seated, but my favorite find so far has been the powder flask I found . I gave It and a few other things I found on the property to the home owner as a Thank You for allowing me to hunt their land . I haven't found another one since but I have no regrets . They are wonderful people.

Nice finds. And yes that does look to be a powder flask. I found one a few years ago more than two feet down on an old farm. 8)
